Since the girls were outside for ages on a playdate, I decided to put that to the test. Kendall has a cheap, gauzy top from Old Navy that was stained with yellow paint ages ago. Apparently OxyClean doesn't get everything out. Of course, the largest stain was directly on the front. So that was chopped out, and some red and cream polka dots made this an entirely new top. There was also a big stain on the sleeve, so I rolled them up and crazy stitched them in place. Ready for some denim shorts, come spring!

As usual, there were tons of boxes and items piled around the donation carts. As I was unloading the car I spotted a complete set of 4 vintage Pyrex mixing bowls in the Amish Butterprint pattern, plus another pint dish. All 5 were in absolutely pristine condition. This is the exact same pattern as the ones my mom used to have when I was a little kid, so I gave a bit of a squeal when I saw them. I asked the guy sorting the boxes if I could have them, and he gave me an uninterested nod (clearly he had no idea what a treasure they are!). Lucky day!
