Scarab Beetle

I am returning to actively sewing again, after a LONG hiatus.  I was really stressed with my Etsy shop- doing custom orders only, combined with working my "real" job became to overwhelming, and I started avoiding my sewing machine, which cannot be a good thing.

Coming back to it now, loving playing different fabric colors off each other, layering and over-stitching, has ignited my treadle cranking passion again.

I finished this 10"x10" art quilt today.

Month is turning.

This is probably one of the last days this year we will be out on the deck in short sleeves.  I am feeling a bit blue about it, although I think maybe I complained a bit too much about all those 90+ degree days.  

Quick skirt for Sasha.

Using Ginger Blossom and Japanese import fabric.  I think I will make it a tad longer next time, and in a supreme fit of dorkiness am adapting the pattern for myself.
